The 1921 list or market tolls
The tolls for taking produce to market were published by Brigg Urban District Councilk in
1921 as below. In addition to the table reproduced from the Star newspaper, blow are images
of the two tables still visible at the East and West ends of the town. These are on the wall
of the Chinese restaurant on the corner of Wrawby St and Queen St and on the Nelthorpe
Arms (Scanlon's) in Bridge St.
